API Agreement

This API Agreement ("Agreement") governs the use of any application programming interface ("API") added by you ("User") to our application ("App"). By ticking the checkbox confirming this Agreement, you agree to the following terms and undertake to comply with them. Please read this Agreement carefully before adding an API to the App.

§ 1 Scope and Purpose

This Agreement applies to all APIs that the User adds to the App in order to retrieve trading history from third-party services, including but not limited to cryptocurrency exchanges ("Exchanges"). The App allows Users to add APIs exclusively for retrieving trading history. The User is obliged to create and use the API in accordance with the steps set out in the App's instructions.

§ 2 Read-Only Permission Requirement

The User represents and warrants that every API added to the App is configured with read-only permissions. Read-only permissions allow the App to access trading history only, without being able to execute transactions, withdraw funds or change account settings.

The User acknowledges that the App has been developed exclusively for use with read-only APIs in order to ensure the security of the User's funds and data.

The User is solely responsible for verifying and ensuring that the added API has read-only permissions and was created in accordance with the App's instructions. Due to technical limitations or restrictions imposed by certain Exchanges, the operator of the App ("Operator") cannot guarantee that the permissions of all APIs can be verified.

§ 3 Disclaimer of Liability

The Operator is not liable for any losses, damages or claims resulting from the addition of an API with write permissions or an API that was not created in accordance with the instructions.

By adding an API, the User expressly waives any legal claims against the Operator, its affiliated companies, employees or agents in the event of financial losses, data protection breaches or other damages resulting from the use of an API with write permissions or from misuse of the API.

The User acknowledges that any financial losses or damages resulting from the use of an API with write permissions or an API that does not comply with the instructions are solely the responsibility of the User.

§ 4 Responsibilities of the User

The User is responsible for:

  • Ensuring that the added API complies with the read-only permission requirements and was created in accordance with the App's instructions.
  • Regularly monitoring and reviewing the permissions of every API added to the App.
  • Complying with the terms of use and policies of the respective Exchange providing the API.
  • Protecting API keys, access credentials and all related sensitive information in order to prevent unauthorized access.
  • Immediately removing or deactivating any API that has write permissions, does not comply with the instructions or poses a security risk.

To increase security, the Operator recommends that the User bind the API to the specified IP address.

§ 5 Limitations of the Operator's Verification Capabilities

The Operator may, to the extent technically feasible, verify the permissions of APIs added to the App for certain Exchanges. However, the User acknowledges that such verification is not possible for all Exchanges due to technical or operational limitations.

The Operator makes no representation or warranty that it can verify the permissions of every API added by the User. The absence of a verification process for a particular Exchange does not release the User from their obligation to ensure that the API has read-only permissions and was created in accordance with the instructions.

§ 6 No Warranty

The App and its services are provided "as is" and "as available". The Operator does not guarantee the accuracy, reliability or security of data retrieved via the API or the App. The Operator is not responsible for interruptions, errors or failures of the API or the App caused by third-party services, including Exchanges.

§ 7 Indemnification

The User agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Operator, its affiliated companies, officers, directors, employees and agents from any claims, damages, losses or liabilities arising from or in connection with the following: the User's non-compliance with this Agreement (including adding an API with write permissions or an API that was not created in accordance with the instructions), any misuse, unauthorized access or security breaches in connection with the API or the User's account, as well as any violation of the terms of use of the Exchange providing the API.

§ 8 Termination

The Operator reserves the right to suspend or terminate the User's access to the App if the User violates any provision of this Agreement, including adding an API with write permissions or an API that does not comply with the instructions.

The User may terminate this Agreement by removing all APIs from the App and ceasing to use the App's services.

§ 9 Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Germany. All disputes arising from or in connection with this Agreement are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Germany.

§ 10 Miscellaneous

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the User and the Operator regarding the use of APIs in the App and supersedes all prior agreements or understandings. Should any provision of this Agreement be found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

The Operator reserves the right to amend this Agreement at any time. Continued use of the App after such amendments constitutes acceptance of the revised Agreement.

By ticking the checkbox confirming this Agreement, the User confirms that they have read, understood and agree to be bound by the terms set out above.
